Privacy notice
This privacy notice explains how Stellune processes data on this website and in our apps. The sections below distinguish between website services, advertising and app-specific storage.
Using the website
Profile and history functions store birth date, eye color, personality type, reading days, streaks and daily cards primarily in the browser.
These details are stored in localStorage only after your permission and remain there until you delete the browser data. Without permission, they are available only for the current visit.
Usage statistics
For anonymous feature-usage analysis, Stellune stores the event type and language. Profiles and horoscopes add only personality type and zodiac sign; card readings add deck, spread type, reversal setting and drawn cards.
The analytics database stores no names or contact, device, IP, cookie, user or session identifiers. Birth date, eye color, horoscope topic and text variant are not sent. Analytics data is retained for no more than 90 days.
Server logs
When you access the website, server logs may include the IP address, time, requested address, referrer, transferred data volume and browser identifier.
Processing serves the secure, stable and abuse-resistant provision of the website on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is retained only for as long as needed for operation, error analysis, defence and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
Website advertising with Google AdSense
After the website has been approved, Stellune may show advertising in the web application through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may process information including your IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, ad interactions, and cookies or similar identifiers.
This processing supports ad selection and delivery, reach measurement, billing, and fraud prevention. Whether personalised advertising is permitted depends on your consent and Google settings.
Where required, a Google-provided certified consent management platform manages choices for visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. You can reopen your choices through the “Privacy and cookie settings” link in the footer.
Android app: local profile data and daily edition
The Android app stores your date of birth, eye colour, selected personality type, horoscope reading days, streaks and daily cards in private app storage on your device. These details are not sent to Stellune; your personal horoscope is assembled on the device. You can completely delete this local data by clearing the app data in Android system settings or uninstalling the app.
When you open a daily horoscope, the app retrieves the public, profile-free daily edition from stellune.de via HTTPS. The request contains no profile data, query parameters or cookies. Technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, request time, requested path, response status and transferred data volume may be processed in server and security logs.
Logging of the daily-edition request is used solely for secure and stable operation, error analysis and preventing abuse on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Regular request logs are retained for no more than 30 days and then deleted or anonymised; they are retained longer only for a specific security incident or legal obligation.
Cactus Farm
Cactus Farm stores your game progress, gameplay statistics and settings only locally in your device’s private app storage. The app does not use a user account, its own backend or cloud synchronization, and currently offers no in-app purchases.
You can delete this locally stored data by clearing Cactus Farm’s app data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. Stellune cannot restore it because no copy is stored on our servers.
Android advertising, Google AdMob and privacy choices
The Android apps Stellune and Cactus Farm show advertising through Google AdMob and use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage consent. AdMob may automatically transmit your IP address (and an approximate location inferred from it), interaction information, diagnostic information, and device and account identifiers such as the advertising ID and app set ID to Google.
Google processes this data for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. The ad-delivery mode that may be used depends on your choices and Google’s settings.
Where required, in particular in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, UMP presents choices before ads are requested. You can reopen and change your choice in the Android app through “Ad privacy choices” whenever UMP provides that entry point.
Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable privacy law, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Privacy requests can only be submitted by email to [email protected]. Contact by post is not possible.
